I have a set of Church Audio binoral mikes on the way and I just realized that I forgot to buy a battery box. I would like to know if the Church Audio preamp is small enough to fit into, say, a backpack. I really want to do live recording with them and I am worried that I may not get to do that now. Are there any users out there that can tell me about the preamp? The recorder I intend to hook these to doesn't have plug-in power. It has an external mike jack but that's it. Thanks a lot for the help.
You will want to hook this o a recorder with a line in jack. Yes, the preamp is portable, aobut the size of a book port.
